I'd like to meet:My fish are colorful contemporary and sometimes bordering abstract as opposed to classical hard line style or strict scientific representations of the species I happen to be painting. I am more interested in capturing the raw energy they possess, their aggressive movements and music through refracted and intense color which we may only catch glimpses of with aching shoulders after long battles. My art is not meant for the faint of heart or for someone looking to hide a painting in a small dusty corner of a room. My art is meant for those of you who love to feel the surf pounding against your chest while the reel screams and still hold on. For the people who love hearing the snow crunch under wader boots to get to the icy river because you know the monster in the pool wont be expecting you today and those who go the extra 20 miles in a squall where nobody else wants to go because thats where the big fish are.
