| Hey everyone, here to stay in touch with friends who're scattered around the country, and possibly make a few more while I'm at it. I spend most of my time going to school these days, working towards my pHD in chemistry down in New Orleans.Yup, I lost my apartment and all possessions (with small exception) this past hurricane season, but am looking forward to going back to finish up school.Most of my free time is spent drawing, reading, or going out when I get the feeling to dance and/or drink with friends (pretty much weekly). In my spare spare time I'm secretly working on drawing the human figure and working towards coming out with a comic or graphic novel with a couple friends (but this is quite a ways off, I atleast have to graduate before I can really donate the proper time to studying and practicing). Ahh, one day.Overall, just a laid back guy who sort of takes life as it comes. No big plans, more of a general direction and outline. Things have proven to me more than once that you can only plan so far ahead and hope for the best.~peace | |

Music:my musical tastes are all over the board! from oldies to 80's. Dance and techno. Since being in Atlanta I've been exposed to a lot of heavier stuff, so far I really like Ulver, AFI, Opeth, Coheed and Cambria...of course I'm in love with the concept of the all animated band Gorillaz. There's Aqualung, Enya, Sigor Ros .... the list goes on |

Books:Some of the books that pop into my head are:........"We" (the english translation of the russian novel) "Ender's game" - by Orson Scott Card "Watchmen" - a great Graphic novel "V- for vendetta" - angther graphic novel William S. Sleator books growing up The Harry Potter series........I used to love choose your own adventure books growing up, and am actually thinking about getting into them again (they're just plain fun!). Now I'm concentrating on reading books to help me improve as an artist; books on scenery, composition, facial structure, facial expressions, human figure....stuff like that. It's a nice break from all the scientific work I have to do for school. |
