| "Katt is a passionate young singer/songwriter from Australia's Surf Coast with an insightful, organic fusion of folk, melodic roots and foot stomping flavours of blues. Her voice resonates a sincere, raw energy with a combination of profound, uplifting and heartfelt lyrics."..................................................
At 20 Years of Age, Katt's musical journey is just beginning.
She is self taught and whilst lacking any theoretical foundation, has been playing and writing original songs since 2004. ...........................
During this time she had the opportunity to spend 18 months travelling and living throughout Eastern and Western Europe, Canada and Amercia absorbing the various cultures, music, art and lifestyles at performing at many many cafes, open stage gigs and community festivals ...............
In June 2007 Katt recorded two singles (The Daffodil song & Ballade de etoiles) as the Surf Coast "Shades" compelation CD - WHICH IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR SALE and features 6 emerging artists throughout the Surf Coast..............
In August 2007 Katt was selected to participate in the freeza central mentoring program which involves recording a compelation cd with 11 other emerging melbourne musicians and a tour throughout victoria whilst being closely mentored by an industry professional.
