| Joe Sanchez was born in Manati Puerto Rico.
His family relocated the The United States when he was 3 years old.
When Joe was 15 years old he started playing electric bass guitar.
This led to many stints with bands ranging from Rock, Pop, Afro-Cuban,and Contemporary jazz.
In 1990 Joe began to study privately with Jerry Tyler a former student of
Jaco Pastorious & Linc Chamberland.Further study continued with Lincoln Goines, John Patitucci and master classes with Victor Wooten. Also Victor Wooten's Bass Nature Camp 2000.
Joe Studied extensively as a Private student of Matthew Garrison.Joe has been a freelance musician for 20 years playing the regional
