| Dreamy power pop with a touch of post-everything Western paranoia, kinda like what David Gilmour's first solo albums would've felt like if Lee Hazelwood had produced 'em.Hank and the skinny 3 have been playing together for a couple of years now. Hank aka Michael O'Neill (Honeymoon Killers, Bad Thing, Cash Carson) along with Tom Buttner and Gary O'Conner started the group after leaving NYC behind.
About a year ago they started the recording of some songs they'd been kickin out over the year together. Most them were inspired by the rural isolation hank was feeling after leaving the glory and grind of living in Manhatten. The extreme darkness of the sky at night and a million visible stars was very humbling and it drew out the cowboy elements that Hank has carried with him all these years playing and writing music.
