| Speaking about a part of a major life change, Duet is a 41-year-old aspiring Singer/Songwriter named Marilyn, who carried a hidden desire from within only to have been brought about. A small town native-born Californian, currently resides in the South. Most of her time is spent singing, writing, and managing a small production company (R.A.W Productions/Recordings by R.A.W). Her hobbies include fun time with the family and pets, yard & organic gardening while enjoying various genres of music. Her heart felt all-time favorite is listening to old school, oldie's but goodies, and 70's-80‘s music (Soul, Rock, Pop, Reggae, Mariachi, Hip-Hop, Rhythm & Blues, Dance, Jazz, Latin Mixes, Alternative and some Rap, Country, Classical, Orchestra), riding horses, motorcycling, trail walking with who she considers to be her soul mate, most sports, and the pleasure of meeting new sincere friends with common interests. Marilyn’s past musical influences includes playing the clarinet in a marching band, tambourine, maraca‘s, participating in school & church choirs and members of her immediate family pursuing professional musical careers. Self-Released, Debut Album - “Duet -A Symphony of Love” consists of 10 original songs with lyrical content based on past and present experiences of her own life and others intertwined into one. My goal - is to continue in hopes of contributing to live‘s of those in need of help, also being a positive role model within the music industry. I am currently creating more works for an upcoming album, which allows me exploration into devoloping my strengths through current weaknesses..… Loving You All.....
