Está situada entre la sierra Carpatos y el río Danubio. En los años 30 del siglo XX era el "París" de la Europa oriental. Pero después de la II Guerra Mundial y de la dictadura de Ceausescu, quien destruyó muchos edificios y 26 iglesias en la parte sur de la ciudad, perdió mucho de su brillo. El edificio más grande de la ciudad (y el segundo más grande en el mundo, después del Pentagon) con 3100 habitaciones es el Palacio del Parlamento y fue construido por Ceausescu. ********* CLIMA ********* Bucarest tiene un clima continental suave. El tiempo es cálido de junio a septiembre. En noviembre y abril llueve bastante. Los inviernos son fríos. Las temperaturas medias en invierno van de los -6º C a 2º C y en verano 16º C a 29º C. |
