SUCKERSTAR IS HERE! Steven Tyler’s wet dream. If Bon Scott only knew, he'd rock n roll over and over in his grave. This isn’t a bunch of star struck girlie girls who think owning a guitar makes the rock star. Oh no, no - This is four rough n ready broads who eat the next pop idols for lunch. This isn't dress up hour at playtime. These women talk the talk and walk the walk, writing and speaking with the same raw lyricisms that we've come to expect of Guns N Roses or Hanoi Rocks and pronouncing their undeniable roots by naming out loud, all of rock's heaviest hitters from Aerosmith to Kiss. They spice it up nicely with a solid punk rock attitude that hasn't sparked this much fire since punk rock's earliest years, bringing to mind the energy, angst and anthem of The Clash, X and The Dead Boys and lace it all up with the true guitar wailin' grit of Led Zeppelin and AC/DC. These ladies ooze all the glam sparkle and style of the 1970s rock era. This is no joke ladies and gentlemen. This is SUCKERSTAR. |
