I'd like to meet:JOY are independent promoters fron S.Wales made up of members of the band Frommars and Matt J from Diverse Records in Newport. They currently put on regular shows every last Thursday of the month at Meze Lounge, 6 Market Street, Newport. They do add other events if either need/demand requires them too. We also run THE JOY COLLECTIVE , a blog & gig guide for everything musical in Newport, Cardiff & Bristol. JOY events can be described as electropunkybigbeatindieprogexperimentalpowerpop over two rooms. Plenty to see and hear. Come check us out...
