I Might Be Able To Help"My Main influences on a short list would have been more contemporary players like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Johnny Winters, Steve Miller,Duane Allman, Lowell George, Mark Knopfler, Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins, BB King, Freddie King, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Peter Green...Buy CD NOW!,Oh the list is endless...This is just a short list...Eric Clapton was entry level into rock and blues... I think every contemporary guitar player has gone through Eric to find themselves... Oh Yeah then there was this guy... Another guy who really got to me was Rory Gallagher... I ran across his "Live in Europe" and bought it just because of the cover...I thought to myself, man you must really play hard to knock the finish off of your guitar...I was right...Other Influences...Songwriters like Woodie Guthrie, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springteen, Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, George Jones, Tom Waits...
