Gillian is a 3 year graduate of acting in the Meisner Technique (2006-2003) from The Actor's Pulse and has trained in acting for the screen with Screenskill Australia . In 2009 she will play the female lead role in the independent Australian feature "Line in the Sand" , a stunning period-piece thriller set in WW2. In late 2009 Gillian will play another lead role in the independent feature “My Lil Eye”, a dark sexy thriller with a ground-breaking cross-platform drama attached. Gillian is also the co-writer and co-producer of “My Lil Eye” and her focus on combining acting, writing and producing, makes her an artist to watch. Other professionals currently attached to the project include: Producer Anna Cridland (Gabriel, Bad Bush), DOP Peter Holland (Cedar Boys, The Nothing Men, Gabriel) and former AFC Commissioner and Executive Producer Tom Kennedy (King of the Mountain, Bad Bush). By day Gillian works part-time in production for Summer Hill Media . Prior to pursuing a career in the film industry Gillian completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and worked in mental health services.
