| First of all, my faith as a "born again" Christian is a big part of who I am. I am so happy to be one of God's "Kids" and I hope that other people can see Jesus in me.I was born in Hastings, Nebraska, the oldest of three children. I lived in a number of towns prior to age 7, but then we settled in Grand Island, Nebraska. I graduated from high school in 1960, and from Duchesne College of the Sacred Heart in Omaha in 1964 with a bachelor of arts degree. Unfortunately it is no longer in existence as a college. My Major was ART and my Minor was Elementary Education. I taught first grade in Omaha for two years, and then secured a position with the Dept.of Defense as a civilian employee (teacher) at Clark AFB in the Philippine Islands. I taught in half a quonset hut on base, and had a great year of travel and broadening my horizons. I then transferred to Sembach AF Base in Germany. I did a lot more traveling there. I taught first grade on the Base for three years, during which I met my husband, Len, who was stationed there as well. We were married at the base chapel in June 1969. 38 years!!!We returned to the states to my husband's hometown of Harrisburg,PA in 1970, and over the last 37 years we have raised our three children here.Heather is 34, single and lives in the same area as we do.Christopher is 31 and married and stationed with the AF at RAF Mildenhall in England.Matt is 26, and still living at home.I resigned my full time preschool teaching position in 2004 but am a regular substitute at the same Child Care Center.I am very aware and cognizant of the things going on in our country that few people seem to realize due to media blackouts on certain subjects, such as the New World Order, The Illuminati, the CFR and the Bilderberger Club. as well as the planned North American Union and the AMERO as currency. (due to be in place by 2010) I try to warn others, but most are not receptive at all. Bible Study, Animals, Young children.Doll Collecting (primarily small Madame Alexander dolls)and am a confessed Bookaholic. I buy many more than I have time to read!I enjoy attending concerts, and Broadway musicals. My hubby Len and I drive into NYC once or twice a year to see a Broadway show. The most recent trip in April was to see The Pirate Queen. Music:I like some contemporary worship music but not the hard rock Christian music. Other music interests include Il Divo, Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman, Oldies from the 50's and 60's. Broadway Musical Soundtracks,some Country, especially Neil McCoy. |

Movies:I do not watch R rated movies, so that limits my selection quite a bit. My favorites include Carousel, Elf, and A Christmas Story, and most recently- A Night at the Museum. |

Television:TV for the most part is a wasteland used to numb the mind! Trying to find a decent program is next to impossible. Very little is family friendly. I would much rather sit at the computer and learn things online and keep my mind engaged! |

Books:The Bible, Christian fiction and non fiction. Currently reading The Ezechiel Option by Joel Rosenberg, I am on a daily reading program to read the entire bible each year. I did it chronologically last year. I hope to continue this every year. Each time I read it I see things I did not see before. |
