Siamo nuovamente alla ricerca di un tastierista per gli Oceanborn!!!

Stiamo cercando una persona seria e motivata, appassionata dei Nightwish e che abbia tanta voglia di divertirsi insieme a noi!
Siamo sulla scena da 4 anni ormai, siamo pubblicizzati dal fansite uficiale italiano Nightwish-Italy. com e abbiamo una demo all'attivo che potete ascoltare slu nostro profilo MySpace.

inoltre bbiamo parecchi contatti per suonare in giro, estero compreso!!!

The Story so Far...

L'idea del gruppo è nata il 29 Ottobre 2004 sul treno Milano - Pinerolo, tornando dal concerto dei Nightwish... uscita per scherzo dalla bocca di DavyDavy e Gilby. I due si misero alla ricerca di altri musicisti per completare la formazione; trovarono così Andrea, Davide e Bianca. Il progetto si concretizzò nel Gennaio 2005, e dopo svariati mesi di prove la band esordì live con il "leggendario" concerto del 6 Maggio 2005 ad Alba (oddio...). Seguirono altri live nei quali il gruppo ha avuto l'occasione di suonare in apertura a gruppi come gli Highlord, gli Edenbeast, gli HLESS e Newborn.
Dopo una temporanea scissione avvenuta nel Gennaio 2007 la band si è ripresa e vede rimasti solamente Gilby e DavyDavy dei componenti della formazione originaria. Dopo una breve ricerca si sono uniti alla band Maria (voce), Alessandra (basso), Federico (seconda chitarra e voce) e Marco (tastiere).
Dal 25 al 29 Febbraio 2008 la band è stata impegnata nella realizzazione del loro primo demo "A Session to the Sea" che include i brani Come Cover Me, Nemo, Ever Dream e Sleeping Sun.
In questo momento gli Oceanborn sono al lavoro per preparare la nuova scaletta e tornare presto live!!!

The original idea of creating a Nightwish cover band came up from the insane minds of two "piciu" (very dialectal way to say "stupid guys" in Piemonte) called DavyDavy and Gilby. They were coming back from the first Nightwish's Italian gig as headliners on October 28th 2004. Soon, the two "piciu" started searching other musicians, finding Andrea, Bianca and Davide. The project took life on January 2005 and, after several months of rehearsal, it become real with the first "legendary" gig in Alba on May 6th 2005 (omg...). We're not cool musicians, we're not handsome guys+beautiful girl (we're not a boy band^^) but we're having a lot of fun (maybe beacuse we're "piciu") and we hope the audience to have fun too during our gigs! We played several times live and we had the opportunity to play with bands like Highlord, Edenbeast, HLESS and Newborn.
In January 2007 the band breaks-up; only Gilby and DavyDavy (who started again playing guitar) remained from the old formation. After a short time looking for new members, they found: Maria (vocals), Federico (2nd electric guitar and vocals), Alessandra (bass guitar) and Marco (keyboards).
Lately the band has been engaged in recording the brand new demo "A Session to the Sea" which includes the songs Come Cover Me, Nemo, Ever Dream and Sleeping Sun Now we're "working" (that means that DavyDavy drinks a lot of beer while the other guys try to play) on setting up a new show!!! What should you expect? Improved setlists, cool shows and only ONE drunk guy on the stage! What else could we say then?
