Wohl kaum ein Act investiert soviel Elan in das DJing an sich wie diese beiden Ostwestfälischen Vollgasrocker. Generation-Funk ist sowas wie das ultimative Abgehinstrument. Mit ihrem Sound aus Electro, Maximal/New Rave und House bearbeiten sie CD-Player, Plattenspieler und Mischer wie Besessene und sorgen für Gänsehautatmosphäre wo auch immer sie die Decks erobern. Berlin, Dresden, Bremen, Hannover, Dortmund, Münster, Bielefeld, Osnabrück, Göttingen, uvm … dabei spielen Sie fast wöchentlich mit Szenegrößen wie „Joachim Garraud“, „Laidback Luke“, „Milk & Sugar“ und allen wichtigen nationalen und auch internationalen Acts der Szene. Laidback Luke über Generation Funk: „They do incredible sound, I enjoyed listening so much” Phats & Small über Generation Funk: “They’re fuckin’ good!” Gérard und Nachtheld verstehen ihren Job als Geschenk, als Möglichkeit sich kreativ auszuleben und sich jeden Abend neu zu definieren. Dafür bedanken sie sich jeden Abend mit einem Wahnsinns Set bei ihrem Publikum. Neben der aktuellen Residency im „Get Naked Club“ (getnakedclub.com) und diversen monatlichen Resident Gigs in den großen Clubs in NRW und Niedersachsen stehen für 2008 vor allem die ersten Releases an! Be sure, there will be a lot more to hear of Generation-Funk! |
