During his studies he experimented In jazz music cooperating with other musicians.During the period 1980-86,he studied classical guitar at the “National Conservatory”of Athens.in the class of Mr. Kyriakos Giorginakis.In 1990 he participated in the Pan-Hellenic competition for musical composition,(under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Culture ),with his composition “Roxane”, for violin and guitar which was awarded a prize.In 1994, the “Macedonian Conservatory”organised a musical competition for a piano work for educational purposes He participated with his composition "Reflections"-consisting of seven parts-which was again awarded a prize.
