| 2004 Rock Routine Add to My Profile | More VideosStarting his career in the early/mid 1990's, DJ Simple Simon has become a noted national DJ receiving respect stateside as well as abroad. His ability to entertain a crowd with his ability to mix and scratch has given him many opportunities to perform for countless clubs and special events. Along with this, DJ Simple Simon has used his talents to conceptualize and execute sets for runway/fashion shows (most recently the sold-out event "Tempesta" at Orlando Florida's Hard Rock Cafe) and national competitions. He was also a top DMC Regional finalist two years in a row and winner of the 2004 Indianapolis, Indiana Guitar Center SpinOff.Currently, DJ Simple Simon is a DJ/affiliate for the Scratch DJ Academy which was started by the legendary Jam Master Jay from Run DMC. He was also a judge for a 2006 DMC Regional event which hosts international competitions revered as the Olympics of competitive DJing. While upholding these obligations, he continues as a resident DJ at Jillians Entertainment Complex in Indianapolis, Indiana and performs for corporate events and tours (most recently, the Microsoft Vista Launch party in January 2007). He also laid down scratchwork on 12 tracks for the new Rench album "Life In Mean Season". |
