Chuck's Exclusive Essays Return!

Chuck returns this year with 12 brand new writing essays! These are exclusive lessons on the craft of writing that you will not find anywhere else. Chuck originally planned to turn these essays into outlines for a future book on writing. But as of now, plans for the book have been put on hold.

Unlike previous years where we hosted essays from Chuck, in 2008, these new essays are free one month after they are posted. Premium Members have them available the day they are posted. IE: If you come to the site on April 1st for the latest essay, and you are not a Premium Member, you have to wait until May to get access to the essay. As many of you know by now (hopefully), Chuck Palahniuk himself does not administer this profile. I do. Who is I? I is Dennis Widmyer. I also run Chuck's official website. But this isn't how I earn my primary income. No, for that, I have a day job at a cool web design company. This company I work for recently unveiled a new social networking site called Culture Clique .

Now, I know that by now you've had it up to here with the cacophony of new social networking sites. As have I. But I'm promoting this site because I honestly think it's pretty unique. It runs off the theory that, you'll listen to friends of yours for recommendations before you listen to anyone else. If someone you trust tells you he/she saw a great movie you gotta check out... or read a book that scared the shit out of them... or played a new xBox game that rocked their nutsack... their word is going to go a lot further than most.

This is Culture Clique . You review anything you want. You then invite friends of yours into your 'clique' and share recommendations with each other. It sounds simple, but it's actually quite fun. Our New Layout

As many of you have hopefully noticed, we have a new layout! I pitched out a bulletin a few weeks ago, asking for the help from a talented Palahniuk fan to redesign our boring, blue and white MySpace page into something that resembled our actual website , and Preston Jarvis stepped up and hit the ball out of the park.
