Copy this code below and paste it on ya page! Bats in the Belfry wurde im November 2002 von Lasse und Marschl gegründet. Der erste Song "Sanatorium" entstand im Dezember 2002. Man plagte sich über Monate mit der Suche nach einem geeigneten Proberaum. Schließlich fand man Mitte Januar 2003 im "Besetzten Haus Erfurt" einen. Dort enstanden die Songs "Thoughts" und "Vibrationen. Etwa im Februar 2003 stellte Bats in the Belfry die Proben im "Besetzten Haus" ein und veröffentlichten zeitgleich die erste Demo EP "Sechsundachtzig". Bis zum Herbst 2003 wurden weitere Stücke für eine weitere Bats in the Belfry EP geschrieben und komponiert sowie recorded die dann unter dem Namen "A NEW AGE DAWNS" ihr release feiern konnte. Im Januar 2004 fand man schließlich einen überaus geeigneten Proberaum im "AJZ Erfurt". Dort bereitete man sich auf das Erste und die kommenden Auftritte vor. Am 4. Mai 2004 wurde Bats in the Belfry durch Husen am Bass erweitert. Der Sound wurde dadurch viel dichter und abwechslungsreicher. Anfang 2005 wechselten die Bats den Proberaum und zogen ins Domizil Erfurt ein. Dort wurde auch der Entschluss gefasst die neuen Songs nur noch Deutschsprachig zu halten. Im Winter 2006 kam Gola als Drumer zu Bats in the Belfry. Leider hat es mit Gola nicht ganz so geklappt wie wir uns das gewünscht hätten. Er wird zwar nicht bei uns trommeln können, dafür haben wir ihn aber als einen guten Freund dazu gewonnen. Danach wechselte man wieder in den Proberaum vom AJZ Erfurt. Seit dem 29.11.2007 trommelt Tom (De-Vil's) bei uns. Mit dem Einstieg von Tom ist Bats in the Belfry nun endlich komplett. Bats in the Belfry were founded by Marschl and Lasse in November 2002. The first Song "Sanatorium" accrued in Dezember 2002. After months of affliction with finding a rehearsal room, they found one in January 2003 in the "Besetztes Haus", where the songs "Thoughts" and "Vibrationen" arose. In Febuary 2003 the rehearsals in "Besetztes Haus" were ceased and the first Demo EP "Sechsundachtzig" was released. Until autum 2003, further songs for another EP were written and composed and finally recorded known as "A NEW AGE DAWNS". In January 2004, a excessively fitting rehearsal room was found in the "AJZ", were Bats in the Belfry prepared for their first and following gigs. On 4th of May 2004, Bats in the Belfry were enriched by Husen at the bass-guitar, wherefore the sound got much more compact and diversified. At the beginnng of 2005, the rehearsal room was replaced by a room in the "Domizil" were Bats in the Belfry decided, to keep further songs in German. In winter 2006 Gola joined Bats in the Belfry as drummer. (November 2007) Unfortunately it did not work out with Gola. He can not play drums for BitB but luckily he is a real good friend for us. On the 29th of november Tom (De-Vil's) became the new Bats in the Belfry drummer. Bats in the Belfry are finally complete. |
