Born & raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, I've come to realize that life is truly ours for living. I believe the only way to truly live is by creating new adventures each day, and by following our passions ... Mahatma Ghandi once said "You must be the change you wish to see in the world," and that's my passion, being the change ... making a difference. Since university I've striven to create change within the world around me in my career as a professional motivational speaker and leadership consultant. Working primarily with secondary school and university students, my programs have focused on empowering audience members to take hold of their lives and move towards discovering their potential happiness by living life to the fullest.

Currently I'm experiencing the greatest adventure of my life ... alongside my girlfriend Jenny, I'm spending four months in eastern Africa where we'll be volunteering with a number of small orphanages and education centers mostly in Tanzania and hopefully also in Kenya. As "freelance humanitarians" we're hoping to help with necessary renovations to buildings, to assist with educational programs, and to provide a safe and caring environment for children in need. We also look forward to providing much needed resources to community members and villagers located throughout Tanzania and Kenya.

To help raise the funds necessary to make these projects a reality, we have created the "Climbing 4 Kenya" fundraising initiative, and have trained to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, and the tallest free-standing mountain rise in the world.
