| Hi everybody! I'm Gooey a Gooey Gooey Salamander (everybody calls me Gooey :), I'm a very special 9 inch long really thick Salamander who can talk! (and you thought that stupid Insurance Gecko was the only one that could talk) I'm trying to make plans for helping prevent the extinction of the rest of us, I have been living alone with help from a special friend for as long as I can remember in a cold, spring-fed mountain stream. My friend has shown me pictures recently of other Gooeys with open sores, tumors and missing limbs and eyes! :O He said that nine out of 10 of us found this year had serious abnormalities."I'm at a loss, folks,". I just don't have a good explanation for what's causing this.It used to be easy to find 100 of us in a day in the 1970s and 1980s; now you are lucky to find a few. I believe that many factors may have hurt us, poaching, deliberate killing and scientific collection.Some friends I have talked to lately including Kanye West think "Bush" may have something to do with it....I don't know, I have really really enjoyed eating the bush for years and I just don't think it could hurt me.......................................................... ..........................................................My friend and I have been able to talk to some celebrities to try and get them on board with our Save the Gooey efforts..................................................... .......................................................... We will be posting pictures of our meetings and travels to try and find an answer to whats going on. Some have asked for a little more about me... well I'm a real class act. I enjoy long walks in the forest while spitting at birds and smashing ants with my feet. I really do love all animals...(just not ants!) or at least I used to love all animals till someone caught me doing it with some and called the Park Ranger. Now I just love fish and no one seems to mind or want to get involved. I especially like fish with large eyes, or should I say eye sockets. Actually I'm very well balanced and predictable, to a boring degree in fact. I've never even done it with a fish or its eye sockets. I'm probably just like you, because people like me and everyone thinks I'm fun to be around. My social skills are that pretty good. Fortunately you and I we discovered the internet and can be virtual friends. You can trust me on that....................................................We hope to have T-shirts soon so keep checking back! | |
