The strength u had for one day feels so weak the next. That is why daily i have to depend on God to get me through. He knows what lies ahead and he wants to show me the right path to choose, all i have to do is trust him in blind faith. That is way easier to say than to do on a day to day basis. I am so glad God is the God of second chances or in my case, the God of 108 chances, cuz i seem to always be screwing up but everytime i do God is always there to forgive me and set me back on the right path. I am a born again christian and thankful for all the blessings God has given me. By far the greastest blessing in my life is my Son Drake. He is my everything. I cant imagine my life with out running late and chasing drake around the house trying to make him put his shirt on, or being at church and in the middle of the service hear him inform the world that "Daddy, I have to Pee"... Nothing in the world compares to being a dad, I love it!!I work in the Fitness Industry. Fitness and helping others better the lives through fitness is my passion. I am the Wellness Coordinator for the YWCA at the Gateway and a Certified Personal Trainer with the International Sports Science Association as well as a Certified Personal Trainer with Metabolic Effect. It is the most rewarding job in the world. I get to help people on a daily basis change their lives in a positive way. It sounds super Cheesy but i seriously love getting up everyday and going to work.I fight professionally in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts or Ultimate Fighting. Muay Thai Kickboxing is my passion and i have been training in the fierce striking art of thailand for over 10yrs. I train at Champion Muay Thai under World Champion Fighter and Coach "Arjan" Rick Davis. In my fights, I would much rather be standing and banging it out instead of rolling around on the ground ,all sweaty, with another guy in his speedos, but hey, thats just me.. to each his own. Plus i think it makes the fight alot more interesting when u stand up and do crazy stuff... my favorite move is the Superman punch or the Jumping Elbow I have the best team behind me. First and foremost, I want to thank my Savior, Jesus Christ, for giving me the strength to get up each day and strive to do my best, I want to thank my coach "Arjan" Rick Davis who makes sure my techniques are on for every fight, i want to thank all of my sparring partners who help me prepare for each opponet, and i want to thank my strength and conditioning coach,Jade Teta-CSCS, and Metabolic Effect for kicking my butt and making sure my body is ready for competition. If you havent tried Metabolic Effect then you havent been working out!! |
