Ecco un sunto della mia storia batteristica .Sono nato il 31-7-84 a Pompei. Ho iniziato a suonare la batteria e le percussioni alla tenera età di 8 anni e a 9 ho preso le prime lezioni di batteria progressivamente con: Peppe Merolla (Andrea Bocelli, Eugenio Bennato, Pietra Montecorvino, Raffaella Carrà, Katia Ricciarelli,Ornella Vanoni), Fredy Malfi (Art Essamble Of Chicago, James Senese, Toquino, studio session great), Sergio Di Natale (Dalla, Concato, Raf, Paola e Chiara, Max Pezzali, Gigi D’Alessio, Mietta, Califano, Bongusto, Neffa,RAI's drummer),Maurizio Boco (Amii Stewart, Mimmo Locasciulli, Patty Pravo, Formula Tre, Massimo Di Cataldo),Dom Famularo, e ancora adesso con Ezio Zaccagnini (M.Ranieri, G, Morandi. RAI's drummer, session great),Dom Famularo (drums and percussion world ambassador). Ho inizato a picchiare con cucchiai e forchette sulle scatole delle scarpe, senza nessuna influenza esterna... nessuno nella mia famiglia suona... poi qualcuno mi regalò dei bonghetti... di quelli che si trovano adesso in ogni angolo di qualche venditore ambulante. Poi i miei genitori mi regalarono un rullante Pearl ed un crash Zildjian. Con quel poco che avevo, iniziai a passare i miei pomeriggi sognando di suonare assieme ai miei gruppi preferiti. Dall'inizio mi cimentai in brani dei Queen, The Beatles, U2, Dire Straits, Sting, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Guns And Roses. Poi i miei mi fecero prendere le prime lezioni a 9 anni, quando ebbi anche la mia prima batteria. Non smetterò mai di ringraziarli per quello che fecero... Iniziai poi ad appossionarmi a gruppi come: Motley Crue, Europe, Toto, Oingo Boingo ,Phil Collins, Dream Theater, e ancor di più Guns And Roses, Journey, Pink Floyd e Deep Purple. I miei modelli di riferimento batteristico sono tanti: Roger Taylor, Ringo, Buddy Rich, Ian Paice, Tommy Lee, Steve Ferrone, Marvin Smitty Smith, Jeff Porcaro, Dedè Ceccarelli, Alex Riel e tanti altri... Ma ciò che ascolto non è il batterista, ma la musica in tutta la sua essenza. Quello che ascolto oggigiorno è assolutamente lontano dalla concezione batteristica, ma non per ripudio (ci mancherebbe), ma per semplice piacere. Adoro le movie sound tracks di John Williams (compositore), Danny Elfman, Ennio Morricone, Maurice Jarrè, Max Steiner, Vangelis, John Williams (chitarrista classico), Ernest Gold, Enrich Wolfgang, Bernard Herrmann,Hans Zimmer & Lisa Gerrard,Thomas Newman... Ho lavorato per alcuni artisti rock e pop della Campania registrando in alcuni importanti studi di registrazione. Ho partecipato a due soli concorsi per batteristi, nella mia vita fino ad adesso, arrivando 3 nel primo, all'età di 15 anni non ancora compiuti, su una rosa di molti altri batteristi che andavano tutti dai 18 anni in sù. L'anno dopo (a 16 anni) partecipai ad un altro concorso dove mi classificai al primo posto, superando bravissimi concorrenti molto più grandi di me. In tutte e due le occasioni fui l'unico a portare un solo libero e non basi pre-registrate. Ho completato a Maggio 2005 le registrazioni del primo album della Rock And Roll band INTERNAL DISFUNCTION. Inoltre ho collaborato con Enzo Fiorentino (Don Moye, Tony Esposito, Luca Sepe, session great), Vince Carpentieri (Almamegretta,Valeria Guida Band,autore del video "Suonare La Chitarra Funk" Polygram Music, G.I.T. professional honor diploma), Mirko Locatelli (Marina Rei,studio session great), Emanuele Colella (Mind Key). Ho partecipato a molti seminari e lezioni individuali con Gavin Harrison, Mike Portnoy, Simon Phillips, Elvin Jones, Walfredo Reyes Jr., Virgil Donati, Dennis Chambers, Dave Weckl, Manù Katchè, Ian Paice, Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti, Ezio Zaccagnini, Arnaldo Vacca, Ernesttico, Giovanni Imaparato, Billy Cobham, Christan Mayer, Dom Famularo, Maxx Furian, Alessia Mattalia, Pier Foschi,Jojo Mayer, Thomas Lang, Peter Erskine, Billy Ward, Aquiles Priester. Dopo i primi 2 lavori nel 2007,SHROOMERY e AUGUILLE,sono ora impegnato nelle registrazioni del nuovo cd degli AUGUILLE e nella preparazione di un EP per gli SHROOMERY.
