After many line up changes and numerous shows, in 1988 the first two records were released - -Agathocles/Riek Boois split 7" and the "Cabbalic Gnosticism" 7". Ever since then Agathocles have been releasing massive amounts of records, tapes, and CD's every year. To this day, they remain to have more records than any other band of it's genre. As big as Agathocles may be, I believe that they are not given enough credit for being the TRUE FOUNDERS OF GRINDCORE.
