About Me |
|
First of all I'd like to explain 'the machine'. It's nothing more than a label (an alter ego if you will) to maintain anonymity. Well, if you're my myspace friend I've never met you, however after going through some of your pages, I'd DEFINITELY like to meet some of you in person. It seems like everyone I know personally has gravitated to facebook, but I love to look at other people's artwork and facebook doesn't provide that option unless they confirm me as a friend first which makes myspace so much more diverting and interesting. Well, let's see, shall I say that I lead a down to earth and simple life with little room for complications? Nah, that would be fictitious. I'm complicated as hell which is why some people can't figure me out. If you're a personal friend I'd go out of my way to help make your life easier as I am fiercely loyal to those I care about. Doesn't that make me sound wonderful? Well try this one on now... I'm also very unforgiving. I enjoy burning bridges. Once I shut you out, you're OUT. And yes there are those who wish they never messed with me because nothing I have will ever facilitate their lives again. I love B&W photography that makes me think. Conceptual art speaks to me more than anything else. I'd rather have food for thought on my walls than something that just looks pretty. Let's see, what can I say, I love the arts. I'd rather go to an exhibit or a live show than go clubbing. My favorite people are my fellow artists and I love watching them excel in their crafts. I love feeding and feeding off ideas. The only thing I hate about the arts is the thriving mediocrity. So much crap gets promoted as 'good art' simply because of nepotism or politics. If you're ever in New York City, I strongly recommend that you go to Rockefeller Center and enjoy the murals by Jose Maria Sert. Among some of my favorite artists are: Hopper Cezanne Van Gogh and several other's I can't think of right now. |

My Interests |
|
I'd like to meet:Painters, sculptors, photographers, film makers, writers, cartoonists, anyone who's actively engaged in their field. Also I love good natured people, I find that people with internal smiles have healthy attitudes and are optimistic.People who always have external smiles are either trying to hard or or trying to sell something, fakes. |

| I hate being around people who have no vision. I find them very mundane, negative, exhausting, and stale. They can never use their minds to create, only consume. Last year a friend and... Posted by on Fri, 12 Sep 2008 20:50:00 GMT |
