JULIA NICHOLS, voice, songs, percussion, guitar, engineering, production & driving force :

Julia has been Naked since birth; her strong, flexible pipes just soar as her engaging charisma and compelling tunes turn heads everywhere. A mainstay of the Woodstock scene, Otherwise known as the singer of The Waz, Julia has also toured across the pond with Ari - Up of The Slits. She was once a finalist to join a well known R&B group, but refused to audition in a string bikini and high heels (read Naked: yes, bikini: no). Julia has loftier goals.

COLONEL DAVID (aka David Malachowski), guitar, voice :

David has played around the world with Grammy winners, platinum artists, rock and roll hall of famers and lot’s of really good people you’ve never heard of too. He was bandleader for Shania Twain, a member of Savoy Brown as well as Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen, has toured with Garth Hudson, really is a Kentucky Colonel, and loves playing Naked.

JOHNNY WATSON, The Naked drum seat. :

Drummer Johnny Watson has always secretly wanted to be Naked. He has an easygoing demeanor juxtaposed by an intense, driving beat that always becomes the heart of the song.Watson studied jazz at SUNY New Paltz, but not enough to hurt him. He then found himself in every rock venue with leaky toilets on the east coast; the Knitting Factory, Lit Lounge, CBGB's. The Continental, Arlene's Grocery, Otto's Shrunken Head, PussyCat Lounge, The Bitter End, Kenny's Castaway's, Brownies, Baggot Inn, Trash Bar … he also plays with Fantom Frequency, Sarah Perrotta Band, and Joe Lee King, but likes Naked the best.He’s not stupid. Revolving members of Naked,RACHEL HAVENS, voice :
As they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. The quintessential Woodstock child, Rachel was born three days after the Woodstock Festival, the daughter of the man who opened it (Richie Havens). Her emotional, luxurious singing is full of grace and gravity, and her healing spirit and energy are certainly Naked.

AVALON PEACOCK, voice;

Lovely Avalon has a way with harmony (though often seen stepping out and riffing out on her own) with a luscious voice just dripping with passion, and a presence captivating and memorizing. The daughter of avant-garde singer Annette Peacock, Avalon also performs with renegades Mechanical Bull. “We are one voice,” she says of her work with Julia in Naked.

MR. WANDER (aka Jonathan James), voice & hats :

A different path has let Wander to be Naked, with a background singing in choirs, his addition an easy fit. As he tells it ” I like to sing but was over trained in choral, madrigal and even a little opera. I have kept up singing, but mostly in the woods.”

GARETT GRASSI, bass :

Garett keeps the down low on the low down, his fluid touch on the 5-string brings a new wave of movement and grease in the pan. Garret brings balance and an anchor to Naked.
