| Founded in the spring of 2004, Rabbits With Glasses has cemented its status as one of central Florida’s rising hard rock acts. Hailing from Orlando, Florida Rabbits With Glasses is an eclectic group of individuals. After several incarnations, guitarists Jason Diana and Lee Ritter, both with degrees from Berklee College of Music, found what would become the classic Rabbits line up. The first to join was Jason Premo. A seasoned bass player of fifteen years with a B.A. in music industry from SUNY Oneonta, Premo was a perfect fit. The next to join the fold was a singer songwriter with experience in everything from classical to rock named Jamie Sparks. The Rabbits were completed when Jeremy Lupa, a drummer of twenty years with studies in concert and orchestral percussion and a B.A. in music industry from SUNY Oneonta, took the helm as the Rabbits percussionist. With their lineup solidified the Rabbits hit the ground running. Playing numerous shows around Florida from the Hard Rock, House of Blues, and the Social in Orlando, to the Masquerade in Tampa and Jack Rabbits in Jacksonville, the Rabbits continue to branch out in Florida and beyond. The Rabbits have been featured on several rock and internet radio programs including Real Rock 101.1’s Native Noise and O Rock 105.9’s Mel’s Favorite Band. Blending hard rock traditions with a vast array of stylistically diverse influences, Rabbits With Glasses is a truly unique hard rock act. With Jamie Sparks on vocals, Jason Diana on guitar, Lee Ritter on guitar, Jason Premo on bass, and Jeremy Lupa on drums, Rabbits With Glasses continues to lay waste to the superfluous monotony of current musical trends. |
