| Hi Well i'm not really a "band" per se....but have worked with about a gazillion!! These days I pretty much concentrate on dance music...happy, hands in the air, funky, soulful tunes with vocals I work with great DJs..the most fabulous my friend DJ WayneG..uber DJ from London. We've recorded several tracks and had them released on compilations all over the world.My carreer has been long and varied. I worked for many years as a background singer for leading rock bands in Australia. probably the most famous would be Jimmy Barnes. I've also worked with Cold Chisel, Noiseworks, Richard Clapton, Rick price, Margaret Urlich and the list goes on. I have been on a million records doing back up vocals and have been priveliged to work with some great bands and producers.including Phil Ramone!!!!!!!!I've sung on so many I've kinda forgotten who they all are...but seriously , have worked with every major act from the 80's, 90's and 00's.,including Powderfinger and Hugh Jackman.I've appeared on television in Australia for many years also. Singing live on Channel 9's Midday Show for 3 million people a time, was a real trial by fire experience and great for me to learn to be good..fast. No mucking around there.I've also been a panelist on the talk show "Beauty and the Beast" on Foxtel as well as vocal coach..then on screen judge for the ill fated last season of Channel 7's "Popstars" (dont hold that against me..it was a well paying gig!!!)My daughter Rebekah Jensen is an awesome singer too. She has sung with me since she was 15. Check out her myspace page. She is an awesome singer, writer, groover and mother of the 2 most beautiful children in the world.Her husband Michael Wheatley is also an awesome talent..check out ensemble770.com...he's an amazing musician, writer, keyboard funkster and great dad. I love my family..they rock and keep me solid! smooches you guys. I love dance music and love the great experiences singing those songs has brought me. I've done shows in Sydney, London, Rome, LA, San Francisco and Chicago. I hope to continue doing so till I drop!!! peace | |
