Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Autumn on the farm I'm a California girl happily transplanted here into the Pacific Northwest and loving it. I smile freely and laugh often. Living in Southern California and never traveling far from there I never knew such a beautiful place existed until my oldest daughter married and moved up here. I was married for 31 years, now five years later and a whole lot of life changes, finds me putting down roots I hope will be deep and strong enough to get me through the rest of my life because this girl is not looking back. I've been an RN for 17 years now and work in the maternity ward of a very small local hospital. It's a little place with a great big heart and my fellow nurses are the best. I am blessed to have a job that I absolutely love, where I learn something new daily. I am mom to 5 grown children, three are married and between them I now have 7 beautiful grandchildren. The pictures and this page are a tribute to all of them. My youngest two grandchildren live here in Washington and watching them grow is so much fun. It is both a joy and a privilige to be a part of their lives and I thank their parents for allowing me to do so. April 3, 2008 I was blessed again with the arrival of my 7th grandchild, another beautiful, healthy grandson! My blessings continue to abound! Life is a journey, we don't always know where it will lead us but God is faithful, this I know for sure. I think we can learn a lot from the little ones...when they hit a bump in the road, they just get up and keep on going, never looking back or thinking about the bumps that might lie ahead! Life is good!

| These days playing with Madi and watching her grow is one of my favorite things to do. On April 3, 2008, her little brother Cody was born and so I am having twice the fun! With his arrival it means that "boys rule" 4 to 3 in this grandma's world! Working with newborns you might think the baby stuff would get old...well it hasn't! And this little guy, unlike the babies I care for at work who pass thru my life for only a few hours, will be in my heart and life forever along with my other grandchildren. How lucky am I!! I am still hoping to see more of my new home state before this year is done and as always I will be finding my way around up here using the "wrong turn-got lost-had fun" travel method. And I am looking forward to California friends making visits up here again!! Two of my girls have worked in the circus, one still is and she is having the time of her life! I love looking at and sharing the pictures they have sent and hearing the stories of life in 3 rings! Recently they were here in the Pacific Northwest and hopefully will return again soon! I have gained a whole new respect and appreciation for all of the work that it takes to make a small circus happen and they do it solely for the purpose of bringing happiness to children of all ages! Personally, I think we all could use more "Circus Days"!!! Life is too short not to be happy! | |

Music:I guess you could call me a "life long" country music lover because I've loved it all my life. On a nice warm day I love to have the windows open for lots of fresh air and listen to Hawaiian or Tropical music. I do like other types of music as well when the company is right... except rap, hard rock and heavy metal and classical! I just can't get into those! |

Movies:I like movies, just haven't been there for a while! My favorite movie of all time??? SOMEWHERE IN TIME... loved it over and over and over! |

Television:HGTV!!! I have learned a lot from that network! Other than that it's hit and miss with TV. I love reality shows. Maybe because they are pretty mindless and by the time I have time to watch TV my mind is a lot less that what it is when I am working! Besides, with working nights I don't really have much time to watch TV! |
