Deep within the dust ridden and forgotten corners of our hearts and minds hides our strongest desire. A longing for an experience that takes us back home. Free of fear, pain, and confusion. A metaphor, projecting the ever present and never ending experience. Extending beyond lifetimes into our eternal and timeless void. The Internal Astronaut is this symbol. A collective individual representing all those who seek to explore the depths of their own unknown. The Internal Astronaut is a newly emerging meta-science of expression. An extrapolation upon the scientific method as well as the notion of pedagogy. Integrating mediums of artistic-emotional expression with complex and yet to be fully explored, fringe theories and concepts. The I.A., as an artifact of the subconscious transformed into tangible experience, carries with it one known side effect; the subtle resurrection and resuscitation of your own innate curiosity. In the end, one may leave with more questions than answers. However, your questions will now lie against the backdrop of a new emerging understanding in which all possibilities exist. And so begins the initiation of the Internal Astronaut as the Experiment and the Scientist simultaneously. |
