| What is a life? Nothing but tortured memories in one's mind....
I was first born in 1789, but only then was I called a different name. My name was Claudia. And I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana... One might ask how I could still be alive today..But I promise to explain later. I lived a blissfully short life of only 6 years before I died. A terrible plague had struck New Orleans whiping out a good portion of the population. My Mama had become ill and succumbed. This was unknownst to me however..I was supposed to have died as well perhaps. Had I not been found by Louis De Pointe Du Lac. He fed from me and left me there.. However I was found later by Lestat De Lioncourt. I was quite ill and was promised that I would get better if I went through with this change...I did not know what I'd gotten myself into. I was turned into a vampire. At first everything was alright. I was adopted by Lestat and Louis and I was happy in the beggining. Although later I had come to a terrible realization..I was cursed..Tormented to always have the body of a child and the mind of an adult... Naturally I blamed Lestat..He'd done this to me.. And he would pay...I plotted and then carried out his murder..Although I failed miserably. Eventually this did come back to haunt me. You see Louis and I had fled for Europe. After we'd taken residency in Paris we met others of our kind. Others whom resented me greatly and upon hearing what I'd done put me to death... I was burned alive...And I did die yes. This however was not the end for me...In 1986 I was born again. More then one hundred years after my death. This time I was called Katrina. And I had a normal life..I suppose. I did not know of my past until just after the date I was changed. Everyday from that point on I would have dreams..Dreams that entailed all of my memories of my past...I could tell no one...Although I was intrigued... Now, I am a student in college.
