English: The band "VENTOX" was founded by Norman and Farzad in the middle of 2004. Afterwards lots of raw material got written and so more and more songs were created. The band's music can be assigned to "old school thrashmetal" from the 80's. After searching for a long time, the drummer Frederik M. was found and so the band's first rehearsal took place in the middle of 2005. They planned to play their first gig in the beginning of 2006, but they had to cancel the gig because they had kicked out the drummer, who lacked in motivation and skills. Furthermore the band still had no bassplayer. So once more the search for a drummer began. Shortly afterwards the bassplayer Patrick D. joined the band. A drummer was still missing. So for the moment the rehearsals became jamsessions. At the end of March 2006 the drummer Sebastian B. joined the band and in the following time, while rehearsing the band's songs, he proved to be a suited and motivated drummer. In August 2006 the band kicked out the bassplayer Patrick D., who (once more) lacked in motivation and skills. In November 2006 the band's first (selfrecorded) demotape came out. It was entitled "Napalm Demo 2006". In the near future the band will record a more professional demotape. Finally the band's first gig took place in December 2006 on a birthday party. Until now (July 2007) the band has played 10 gigs. In March 2007 the bassplayer Markus S. joined in and so completed the band’s line up. In July 2007 Sebastian B. left the band because he no more had the time which is necessary to proceed. But the band quickly found a new drummer, Kaweh a.k.a. “Kaveman”, who perfectly matches to the band’s music. To be continued....................you need to check out our songs!! In der Folgezeit entstand viel Rohmaterial, aus dem sich nach und nach immer mehr Songs herauskristallisierten. Musikalisch kann man Ventox dem „Old-school“ Thrashmetal der 80er Jahre zuordnen. Nachdem man sich dann auf Drummersuche begab und nach langer Zeit mit Frederik M. auch einen gefunden hatte, begannen Mitte 2005 die Proben. Für Anfang 2006 war der erste Auftritt geplant. Jedoch musste die Band absagen, da man sich Ende 2005 vom Drummer Frederik M. aufgrund nicht ausreichender Fähigkeiten getrennt hatte und immer noch kein Bassist gefunden war. Wieder suchte man nach einem geeigneten Drummer. Kurz darauf stieß dann der Bassist Patrick D. zur Band. Da man immer noch keinen Trommler hatte, wandelten sich die Proben vorerst zu Jamsessions. Ende März 2006 fand man mit Sebastian B. endlich einen geeigneten und motivierten Drummer. In der Folgezeit studierte man die Songs ein und merkte sehr schnell, dass man mit Sebastian B. „den Richtigen“ gefunden hatte, da er mit viel Eifer bei der Sache war und immer noch ist. Im August 2006 trennte man sich vom Bassisten Patrick D. aufgrund nicht ausreichender Fähigkeiten und mangelnden Engagements. Im November 2006 ist die erste Demo-CD der Band erschienen, die „Napalm Demo 2006“. In naher Zukunft soll die Aufnahme eines etwas professionelleren Demotapes stattfinden. Der erste Auftritt der Band fand im Dezember 2006 auf einer Geburtstagsparty statt. Bisher (Juli 2007) wurden 10 Auftritte absolviert. Im März 2007 stieß der Bassist Markus S. zur Band und komplettierte somit das Line-Up. Im Juli 2007 verließ Sebastian B. die Band, weil er nicht mehr die nötige Zeit aufbringen konnte. Man fand in Kaweh a.k.a. „Kaveman“ aber sehr schnell einen neuen Drummer, der sehr gut zum Musikstil der Band passt.
