| Köln trifft Bielefeld Als sich Andrew und Massiv B. zum ersten mal begegneten, ahnte keiner von beiden, dass sich aus diesem Treffen eine so produktive Verbindung entwickeln würde. Massiv B., schon seit Jahren im Ruhrgebiet unterwegs, mit einem untrüglichen Gespür für den richtigen Beat zur richtigen Zeit, und Andrew, der Produzent aus Köln, langjährig mit vielen Produktionen auf diversen Labels verewigt. Eine Kombination, die es in sich hat. Nach ersten Gigs in verschiedenen Clubs machten sich die beiden Gedanken, wie sich ihre persönlichen Stilrichtungen, die sich von Disco über Electro bis Minimal Techno erstrecken, wohl verbinden lassen könnten. Aus dieser Überlegung heraus wurde das Projekt Spinnin Elements aus der Taufe gehoben. SPINNIN steht für die Energie, die in ihrer Musik zur Entfaltung kommt. Nicht nur ihre Produktionen sind energiegeladen und luftraubend, auch ihre DJ-Sets sind nach über 4 Jahren gemeinsamer Arbeit zu einem Spektakel durchtreibender Bässe und klingender Melodien herangereift. Nichts bleibt stehen, wenn sie die Elemente auf dem Dancefloor zum Beben bringen. ELEMENTS repräsentiert die Bausteine ihrer Musik, sowohl in ihren DJ-Sets als auch in ihren Produktionen. Es sind treibende, melodiöse, von Bass getragene Vibes, immer am Ball der Zeit und wegweisend, um wie ein Blitz in den Beinen zu enden und die Menge zum Ausrasten zu bringen. Seit mehr als vier Jahren bilden die DJs Andrew und Massiv B. das Projekt Spinnin Elements. Man kann gespannt sein, was sie in naher Zukunft so alles planen. Was auch immer folgt, eins ist klar: Die Elemente drehen sich weiter. To be continued When Andrew and Massiv B came across each other for the first time, neither suspected that such a productive association would be formed. For years prior to this encounter, Massiv B had been working solo and had developed an unmistakable feel for the right beat at the right time. In the meantime, Andrew (a producer from Cologne) had been gathering extensive experience producing albums for various record labels. A combination of backgrounds and talents that definitely appeared to have something unique about it. After their first gigs together in various clubs, they had both reached the same conclusion – that their personal directions in style, which spanned a breadth of genres including disco, electronica and minimal techno, could in fact be effectively combined – so came about Project Spinnin Elements. SPINNIN stands for the energy which, through their collaborative work comes to fruition. Not only are their productions unquestionably loaded with an energy that is all consuming, but their DJ sets, which after over two years of working together, have grown into a spectacle of driving bass lines and sonorous melodic riffs. ELEMENTS represents the foundations upon which their music is built – fundamental in both their DJ sets and productions. A sense of drive, melody and organic development from bass line up enables them to remain cutting edge while simultaneously illuminating the future of electronic music. A future which promises to be even more exciting. No question about it – these elements will keep on turning. |
