| I am an experienced music industry professional with a wide range of qualifications. My background history includes a successful track record as a booking agent, artist development coordinator, music business education instructor, writer, manager, publicist & marketing director which is my current position at UMI Entertainment. UMI is very much a part of my heart and soul; it is a label I helped develop with James Bryan from the multi platinum act The Philosopher Kings, whom I personally consider a musical genius and a real nice guy. Our artists Sunshine State, Gavin Bradley & James Bryan inspire me each and everyday. They are all incredibly talented and I feel very blessed to be involved.Before UMI Entertainment, I successfully worked freelance for several years, working in various capacities with noted clients within the music industry. Mainly I was a club booker at The Reverb, Kathedral & Holy Joe's for several years- I was always busy, whether I was organizing an industry showcase for a hot up and coming artist, or promoting or publicizing yet another show, I believed (and still do!) in artist development. There is nothing more gratifying than nurturing great talent and knowing you helped someone become a better artist.Today I am still doing freelance publicity & artist development, A&R & bookings. Recent clients include an amazing punk metal band called Born Destroyers who I LOVE! & An A&R project with Atlantic/ Lefthook US.
