THE GUYS Throughout the years SEVERANCE has become a hardworking hardcore/punkrockbands out of the florishing Belgian scene. March 2005 sets the release for their sophomore effort "Godspeed" on EyeSpy Records. This album generates a mix between punkrock, emo and hardcore and speaks directly into the ears of impassioned fans of aforementioned genres and bands like Foo Fighters, Rise Against, Boy Sets Fire and Queens Of The Stone Age. This album was recorded and produced by Ace Zek (The Setup, Death Before Disco,...) at The Globe and CCR Studios, with drums engineered by Sean Thompson (Faithless). For the finishing touch Roger Lian (Slayer, Pantera, Sick Of It All, Monster Magnet) was recruited for mastering at Masterdisk, NY. This album goes with a single The Last Regret for which they have recorded a videoclip. THE NEXT STEP October 2006: Right now the band is focussing on their new album, releasedate set for spring 2007. The band stands out amongst others, not following current rock'n'roll standards... The new songs are a natural evolution after the "Godspeed" release, but again not the same as aforementioned record. Severance is known to push their limits beyond all horizons, creating music and rock'n'roll like it should be done... Hold on tight for a big bang! Take note: spring 2007...Meanwhile enjoy...
