Flex has been immersed in the Australian dance music scene for over 15 years. His trademark minimal tech sound has seen him forge a residency at 2 of Perth’s premier underground venues, Ambar Nightclub (voted in Top50 clubs in the world by music bible DJMAG, 1 club in Australia) and Shape Nightclub, and seen him win the 2006, 2007 & 2008 Perth Dance Music Award for Best Electro DJ, and rate top 5 in the 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 InTheMix Top50 dj poll. He has also appeared at most of Perth’s major festivals including Breakfest, 360, Parklife, Gatecrasher, Global Gathering, Summerdayze, Two Tribes, Ministry Of Sound, Future Music Festival & Major Break. Flex's ability to build a sound and blend effortlessly between musical styles has seen him reguarly trusted with the prized warm-up slots for a huge range of artists. His resume includes AudioJack, Ewan Pearson, Lutzenkirchen, MANDY, Meat Katie, Plump Djs, SWAG, Oliver Huntemann, Stephan Bodzin, Yousef, Danny Howells, Kaskade, King Roc, James Talk, Chris Lum, Spektre, Tom Neville, Freeform Five, Trentemoeller, Martinez, Alexkid, Sneak, Sharam Jey, Roger Sanchez, Inland Knights, Chuck Love, Tiga, Harry Romero, Ben Watt, Deepchild... the list goes on. He has played in numerous countries including Germany, Holland, United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, UAE & India, and regularly tours the eastern states. He also twice appeared as the feature artist on national radio station JJJ’s mixup.Flex is also the promoter behind the successful Habitat Inc brand, which has been one of the driving forces in developing the tech sound in Perth.
