Depuis les débuts du groupe en septembre 2004, Wishmaster ne cesse de maturer et de s’attirer les faveurs du public ainsi que de bonnes critiques. Que ce soit de par leur première prestation audacieuse d’une heure après avoir fait seulement trois pratiques (tout en ayant accepté de faire le spectacle après leur première pratique) ou de par les bonnes critiques de sites web métal, sans compter celles des gens qui ont vus leurs spectacles, Wishmaster fait ses preuves. Wishmaster devient tranquillement un « must » à voir en spectacle pour leur énergie, le talent de leurs musiciens et l’authenticité de l’interprétation des chansons de Nightwish, ainsi que les quelques surprises réservées à l’auditoire. Entre 2005 et 2007, Wishmaster a vu plusieurs membres quitter et d’autres se joindrent au groupe laissant seulement Étienne en tant que membre du groupe originel. 2006 et 2007 furent deux bonnes années de spectacles intensifs qui contribuèrent à faire connaître le groupe au travers la province en se produisant dans des salles comme le Dagobert (Québec), le Box Office (Drummondville), le Cactus (Rimouski), la Marina du Vieux Port (Chicoutimi) et le Magog (Sherbrooke), pour ne nommer que celles-là. Wishmaster souhaite devenir un incontournable des groupes hommages et des groupes métal de la province, car ils ont sus reproduire fidèlement les chansons de Nightwish tout en gardant une signature bien à eux. Since the beginning of the band in September 2004, Wishmaster keeps maturing and attracts the favours of the public as well as good critics. From their first one hour daring concert after having only three jam sessions (while they agreed to do the concert after their first practice) or from good critics of metal web sites, without counting those of people who saw their concerts, Wishmaster establishes itself. Wishmaster slowly becomes a “must see” in concert for their energy, the talent of their musicians and the authenticity of the interpretation of Nightwish songs, as well as surprises well kept for the audience. Between 2005 and 2007, Wishmaster saw several members leaving and others joining the band leaving only Étienne as a member of the original line-up. 2006 and 2007 were two good years of intensive shows which contributed to make the renown of the band throughout the province while playing in venues like the Dagobert (Quebec), the Box Office (Drummondville), the Cactus (Rimouski), the Marina of the Old Port (Chicoutimi) and the Magog (Sherbrooke), to name only a few. Wishmaster wishes to become a must see among tribute bands and metal bands of the province, because they know how to reproduce accurately the songs of Nightwish while keeping their own signature.
