| Calamity Box, once known as Suicide Girl in 1996 then changed to Calamity Box in 2002 for fans of the website, Suicidegirls, keep saying Ash was stealing their name... which wasn't the case, because, WE WERE FIRST, since Ash wrote a comic book called SUICIDE GIRL, after the death of his girlfriend in 1993, whom committed suicide. But then decided to change the name to CALAMITY BOX. While the band isn't as "gothic" as it started out to be. It still holds truth to the beautiful bleak world we live in. Its sweet bluesy folk to electro-smash and soul pounding lyrics helps slice down that razor's edge. | |
