| Né à Paris en 1968, Olivier est bercé par la musique soul et le rythme and blues. Plus tard, après avoir goûté au rock métissé de Lenny Kravitz et Terence Trent d'Arby, il a deux grandes révélations avec Tracy Chapman et Ben Harper grâce aux quels il trouve sa place, entre douceur et révolte, groove et mélancolie.D'abord chanteur au sein de deux groupes parisiens, Woaini ( pop-rock ) et Méconium ( funk-rock ), c'est au court d'une année passée au " Chantier " ( avec Philippe Albaret ) qu'Olivier commence à écrire et composer ses propres chansons aux paroles douces-amères, portées par son timbre profond teinté de blues.Après avoir enregistré 4 titres avec Tchentchen à la guitare ( extraits ci-dessus ), il décide d'aller jouer ses chansons sur scène, seul avec sa guitare.Et voilà où nous en sommes... | |
