| Tout commence au crépuscule des seventies, au détour des accidents de la vie, la rencontre entre une guitare et un enfant; un radeau auquel se cramponner au milieu de l'océan qu'est la vie. Dans les bagages, de l'espoir et quelques précieuses mélodies d'un univers étoilé au nom de constellations mystérieuses ; T-rex et son Get it On, les Beatles au Yellow Submarine, A Whiter Shade Of Pale de Procol Harum et une poupée, celle qui dit non... La suite du voyage est la découverte de nouvelles terres encore vierges à l'aube des années 80, de l'autre côté de la Manche sous les feux d'Iron Maiden et Motörhead en réponse au Trust national jusqu'aux lointaines contrées australes, berceau d'AC/DC et l'incontournable Amérique, terre de fameux luthiers et de bardes aux talents extraordinaires, guidés par les Vents d'Halen. Naviguant de port en port, de tavernes en échoppes plus ou moins renommées, enivré de Xérès, au son du canon de Black Power pour l'un, issu de la lignée fraternelle Das Gift et porte-parole du Tapage Nocturne pour l'autre; deux personnalités se rencontrent au hasard de la Nouvelle Vague d'alors, tous deux à la recherche d'un néo-romantisme emprunt de nostalgie, mais guidés par les mêmes valeurs humaines et musicales. Depuis l'an 1987, ce sont deux amis qui embarquent dans le même navire du nom de Dorian Grey, libres à chaque escale mais se retrouvant compagnons d'aventure, guidés par un destin commun. Traversant les années et malgré les naufrages, l’histoire se répète à nouveau et s’écrit à présent aux yeux de chacun et pour l’amour de tous, une porte ouverte au rêve et à l’utopie pour le simple plaisir du partage. Everything began in the twilight seventies, at the bend in the path of life and its accidents; it was time for a child to run into a guitar – a rescue raft to cling to-. In his luggage hope was packed along with some precious melodies from a starry universe by the name of mysterious constellations: T-rex and its Get it On, Beatles with Yellow Submarine, A Whiter Shade Of Pale by Procol Harum and a doll who says no. At the dawn of the 80s as the raft carried on with its ways it was time for still virgin new lands located on the other side of the Channel under the fire of Iron Maiden and Motörhead as an answer to the national Trust as far as the remote Southern lands which saw the birth of AC/DC, as far as the inescapable America, a land populated with so famous stringed-instrument makers and highly talented bards guided by winds of Halen. Still sailing from harbour to harbour, from taverns to more or less well known booths, intoxicated by sherry, by chance two personalities met each other on their way to the new wave of that time. One of them was sailing at the sound of canon of Black Power and the other was sailing at the sound of Das Gift and Tapage Nocturne; both of them eager for neo romanticism tinged with nostalgia but sustained by the same human and musical values. Since 1987 two friends have embarked on the same ship by the name of Dorian Grey, free to put in wherever they want but always fellow travellers led by the same destiny. Throughout the years and in spite of shipwrecks history keeps repeating itself and enables us to open the door to dream and utopia for our unpretentious pleasure of sharing… |
