I'M constantly growing and expanding my horizons. I love to meet new people and be exposed to new experiences and ideas. To paraphrase William Hurt in "The Big Chill", I'm constantly evolving. Or at least I hope I am.

PROFESSIONALLY speaking, I own THE LIT WICK CANDLE CO. making the most fragrant, longest lasting candles because you deserve the very best! Candles are not only my business, they are my passion. I try to create fragrances that will not only please your senses, but bring back cherished memories and help make new ones.

MOST weekends you'll find me showing and selling my candles at festivals, fairs and shows throughout NE Ohio. In fact, we average 41 fairs a year. Needless to say, my schedule is pretty full... pouring candles and creating new fragrances during the week while appearing at festivals and shows on the the weekends. Oh, and then there're the candles I have to package and ship to my long-distance customers (I LOVE YOU ALL) across the US, in Canada,England, Bulgaria and Malaysia. Boy, just typing that out made me tired!

WHEN I'm not working (that's funny), I like to spend my time with my dogs (I now only have two), my family and friends, listening to music, watching movies (movies are my largest vice... I've well over 4,000 movies in my collection and it just keeps growing... sort of like the Blob!), reading, writing, working in my yard and singing (acutally, I sing constantly... it keeps me sane... or as close to sane as I can get). When I get the opportunity, I like to go to Adams Street Bar on Wednesday nights to sing and laugh my heart out with my friends at Piano Bar. You should come join us sometime... it's a blast!

I'M originally from Akron, OH, but spent nearly 30-years living in Eugene, Oregon and Scottsdale, Arizona. In 2002 I moved back to Akron (the why is a long story) and brought my business with me. I'm still adjusting to life in Ohio... it's dramatically different than Arizona and I'm not just talking about the scenery.
