| in the summer of 2006 i found myself not in any bands. this was the first time in about a decade when i wasnt playing music with people and it felt empty. playing solo seemed to be the only answer. it is kind of lonely sometimes, but music means everything to me so i have to keep playing. i often use the word punk to describe what i do. my music is a long cry from the familiar common usage of the word punk, but i find that i work within a specific "punk" ethos. DIY til i DIE, i will play any show with anyone. within reason i will play anyone's living room, kitchen, garage, basement, coffee house, bar or stadium. if you think i can pull enough money for gas or if it is on my way to another destination, or if i am in the area, i will play for anyone any time. | |
