PRESS REPORTS:DAILY IRELAND- "Everyone says they want Peace but few of us have actually done anything about that's where Brendan Quinn comes in ... He began his literary career with a Poem entitled "A Nation's Plight with Peace in sight" which he circulated around his Antrim Road locality.North Belfast News:"It's poetry in motion for North Belfast man Brendan Quinn who has released a cd.. The cd features his Poem entitled Peace ,which hopes for a better future for Ireland in the aftermath of the troubles: "The past may have scarred,the lessons learn't were hard, mistakes should be admitted,let's hope and pray that the pattern of achieval,removes the medieval. It was a prayer for Peace and harmony that I said all the time.It was a prayer of hope,before any of the ceasefires were called,for peace and normality. Maybe it was borne out of living in Galway,where things were quiet and there was no trouble,or maybe it was because culture was such a strong celebrated theme in Galway that I felt the urge to write the Peace poem. The poem was later picked up by the then Lord Mayor of Belfast,Alban Maginness in 1998.In a letter to Brendan,the North Belfast SDLP politician praised his talent and wished him success in his poetic career. UPDATE 2007- Many other politicians since then, from the main political parties i.e (SF and the DUP) have been forwarded the CD and hopefully it has helped in assisting Peace. Thankfully we have reached where we are now today! All of Brendan's other carefully penned poems drafted over the years are currently logged in the Linen Hall Library's archive. We are diverse people it is wise to share this planet together in Peace.There is enough for everyone.You've been marked on my visitor map!Victory is the prize of determination,courage,being open with yourself and others.Understanding and The truth will set us free to live without fear,negativity,blame or slur.Sometimes it is required from more than one source and the main ingredient is truth.Free yourselves from torment speak up for Peace,Understanding,Reconciliation and Love. What has been the most important day of my life so far.Today of course. I can make things happen today and change/improve things for my life and other people.Everything else is just a memory.so carpe diem - seize the day This is the day that the Lord has made Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Upwards and onwards ,forwards and never backwards.

LET US KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING AND FINISH THE RACE! A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE AWAITS US ALL.BREAD AND BUTTER ISSUES NEED TO BE TACKLED IN THIS PRESENT ECONOMIC RECESSION.THE ONLY WAY IT WILL BE RESOLVED IS WHEN PEOPLE COME TOGETHER AND WORK FOR THE COMMON GOOD.REMEMBER THE COMMUNITY SPIRIT YEARS AGO WHEN PEOPLE ALL LENT A HAND AND WE ALL POOLED ARE RESOURCES.PEOPLE NEED TO LIVE WITHIN THEIR MEANS AND THE BASIC SIMPLE THINGS OF LIFE,LIKE GOING FOR A WALK,CHATTING TO NEIGHBOURS AND FRIENDS PRODUCE A FEEL GOOD FACTOR!TO SUMMARISE HELP EACH OTHER OUT,PRAY TO GOD AND TRUST IN HIM
