| NOSHAD HAS BEEN DJ’ING FOR AROUND TEN YEARS NOW AND HAS BEEN RUNNING AND PROMOTING HIS OWN GIGS SINCE NOV’ 1999 UNDER THE NAME DELIBERATE DEFIANCE. HE HAS BEEN WRITING AND PRODUCING HIS OWN MUSIC FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND IS TRYING TO PERFECT HIS SOUND.HIS PREFERRED STYLE OF MUSIC IS DRUM AND BASS. HE ALSO PLAYS; BREAKBEAT AND ALL URBAN STYLES TOGETHER LIKE: HIP HOP, R‘N’B, UK GARAGE AND BASHMENT. HE IS LOOKING TO DO PROJECTS IN HIP HOP WITH MC D-MACK, KILLA CROWE AND MC TIZZIK. THE INFLUENCES THAT HAVE INSPIRED THE DEFIANCE FRONT MAN ARE: ANDY C, DILLINJA, PENDULUM, SHY FX, BARON, FRESH, METALLICA, GUNZ ‘N’ ROSES, KEANE, SNOOP DOGG, 2 PAC, 50 CENT, DR DRE, STANTON WARRIORS AND DJ SY (TO KEEP IT TO A MINIMAL). HE LIKES LISTENING TO ROCK, HIP HOP, R‘N’B, HOUSE, BREAKBEAT, DRUM AND BASS, HARDCORE RAVE AND GENERALLY A LOT OF OTHER MUSIC TOO.IN AND AROUND CAMBRIDGE HE HAS ORGANISED AND RUN GIGS AT: LORDSBRIDGEB ARENA, NUSHA, CELLAR BAR 8, FIFTH AVENUE (BALLARE), CC’S (CAFÉ AFRIKA), PORTLAND ARMS, EARL OF BEACONSFIELD, ISHCA, ROMSEY LABOUR CLUB, THE L.E.L CLUB, THE UNICORN, LEGENDS BAR, THE RATTLE AND HUM, NU NIGHTCLUB, THE MAN ON THE MOON AND DONE MANY YEARS OF OUTDOOR EVENTS UNDER THE NAMES DELIBERATE DEFIANCE AND UNDERGROUND REVOLUTION.HE HAS ALSO PLAYED AT THE JUNCTION, THE GREYHOUND, MAN ON THE MOON, CELLAR BAR 8 AND THE ROYAL STANDARD FOR RAPTURE FM. HE’S ALSO PLAYED AT THE PRIVATE PARTIES IN FULBOURN, THE FEZ CLUB AND IN THE WHITEHOUSE (NEWMARKET: CRC’S END OF YEAR PARTY) AND PARKSIDE SCHOOL’S END OF YEAR PARTY. BOTH PARTIES WERE ON THE SAME DAY. HIS FIRST DOUBLE BOOKING AT THE AGE OF SIXTEEN!!AT THE LORDSBRIDGE ARENA GIGS WHICH WERE RUN BY JOHNNY KA$H AND NOSHAD THERE HAVE BEEN GUEST APPEARANCES BY SHABBA D, NICKY BLACKMARKET, L DOUBLE (RADIO 1 XTRA), RAY KEITH, RANDALL, CONCRETE, SURREAL, MOTORMOUTH, PHANTOM AND PRESHA. AT THE L.E.L GIGS WHICH WERE RUN BY NOSHAD THERE WERE GUEST SLOTS BY NICKY BLACKMARKET, RAY KEITH, LINDON D AND SURREAL.THE NIGHTS NOSHAD RUNS AT THE MOMENT ARE: DIRTY SPIRIT (A POPULAR BREAKBEAT NIGHT ON THE FIRST SATURDAY AND LAST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH @ NUSHA) WHERE HE IS ACCOMPANIED BY THE MULTI SKILLED DJ 3-B. HE IS ALSO RUNNING PARTIES AT NU NIGHTCLUB UNDER THE NAME NU SOUNDZ, FEATURING DJ DEE, TIZZIK AND D-MACK, WHICH FALLS ON THE SOCOND THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH. PLAYING SUCH STYLES AS R’N’B HIP HOP, HOUSE, GARAGE, BREAKS AND COMMERCIAL DRUM AND BASS.HE HAS BEEN AT RAPTURE SINCE DAY ONE AND EVEN LEFT SMOKE FM IN LONDON TO HELP MAKE RAPTURE HAPPEN AND PROGRESS WITH THE FOUNDERS: JOE AND ANA. THE STATION IS NOW WIDELY RECOGNISED AND STILL VERY YOUNG (IT STARTED IN OCT’05). THE PROGRESS IN SUCH A SHORT TIME HAS BEEN PHENOMINAL BECAUSE OF THE HARD WORKING AND DEDICATED TEAM.NOSHAD DID HIS FIRST TWO YEARS ON HIS DEGREE AND WAS GETTING OUTSTANDING GRADES IN MUSIC TECHNOLOGY AND MUSIC BUSINESS. HE LEFT COLLEGE TO MAKE HIS OWN MUSIC AND BEFORE THE STUDENT LOANS BECAME TOO MUCH. HE HAS GRADE FOUR IN ROYAL HARMONIC MUSIC THEORY WHICH HELPS HIM TO WRITE HIS MUSIC AND HE IS BRUSHING UP ON HIS PRODUCTION SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING TO GET A HEAVIER SOUND.
