My name's Ryan; I make weird art and dabble with animation. Maybe you have seen my stuff somewhere. Maybe not: "Cocktator" pen/colored pencil; 2004 As you may already surmise, my work is sorta like if Salvador Dali inseminated Dr. Seuss and the embryo was subsequently implanted into Andy Warhol's womb. Once birthed, this supernatural post-fetal art being was then placed in the foster care of Robert Crumb and M.C. Escher, only to grow up on a steady diet of cartoons, badger milk, and soft-core pornography. Sometimes I incorporate puns and wordplay into the titles of my work (see above). In fact, I sign my work with "R. Thies" because when pronounced correctly, it sounds like ar-teest.
