| Die düsterromantische Musik von Bacio di Tosca begeistert vor allem durch den facettenreichen klassischen Gesang von Dörthe Flemming, was sie schon als Sängerin von Charitona unter Beweis stellen konnte. Daher ist dies kein Aufsprung auf den momentan recht populären „heavenly-voices-Zug“, sondern man kann sie ohne Übertreibung als eine der Gründerinnen dieses Genres bezeichnen.
Nach einigen Jahren künstlerischer Pause stellt sie nun ihre erste Solo-Veröffentlichung „Der Tod und das Mädchen“ vor, die sich musikalisch in den Neoklassik-Bereich einsortieren lässt. Stilistisch ist Bacio di Tosca eine Rückbesinnung auf die in der Romantik populäre Form des Kunstliedes. So lässt Dörthe Flemming Komponisten wie Schubert und Dichter wie Heinrich Heine, Mathias Claudius und Karoline von Günderrode im neuen schwermütigen Gewand erklingen – „Bacio di Tosca – the voice of sadness“ !
About Bacio di Tosca The dark-romantic music of Bacio di tosca fascinates above all with the manifold classical chant of Dörthe Flemming, who already made herself a name as the singer of the band Charitona. Therefore she doesn..t simply jump on the bandwagon of nowadays popular heavenly voices bands but without exaggeration can be named one of the originators of that genre.After several years taking an artistic rest she now presents her first solo release "Der Tod und das Mädchen - engl. Death and the girl", which can be placed in the neoclassical genre.Stilistically Bacio di Tosca is a recollection to the german Kunstlied (art song or lieder), popular during the romantic period.
