Last Stone Cast was formed by former members of Ripcored, Meltdown and Fast Chester in Akron, Ohio at the end of 2006.The band was created with the purpose of giving the three individual members an opportunity to write and perform the music that they wanted to play, without having to be whores to trends and fashion. The groups sound is one of a kind, but is reminiscent of many of the bands influences: Metallica, Rush, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Z.Z. Top and a million other bands that have attracted our attention and influenced us, either directly or indirectly.Our first CD (a 5 song EP to keep the wolves at bay while we finish the full length album) was released on June 16th and is available on CD Baby.In Late 2007 original drummer Josh Lipply stepped down due to scheduling conflicts. LSC quickly recruited Ripecored drummer Bill Morrison who had worked with Scott for many years. The band then set about writing and recording our second CD "Life Construed" and released the albums first single "I don't Owe You Anything" on the Divebar compilation in Raliegh, NC. "I don't Owe You Anything" was added to regular rotation on over 100 Internet radio shows and quickly established LSC as a serious force in the hard rock world.Since solidifying the bands lineup LSC has continued to play headlining shows in the Midatlantic States, and has consistently devastated their audiences with their energetic and emotional performances establishing them as a world class live act with a well deserved no compromising reputation.In August 2008 LSC signed a development deal Texas based A&S Records, and completed the recording of "Life Construed," which is set for release this fall.PROMOTERS BE AWARE: LSC will NOT sell tickets for any show.
