BIOGRAPHY:
Karlis has been producing breakbeat under the alias of D-CORE since early 2006, and over the past two years has been developing his style of heavy beats, epic synths, and tearing basslines, taking influences from many areas including artists such as Freestylers, ED-209, Kraftycuts, Antiscience, Duel Calibre and El Hornet (Pendulum).
Born in the Midlands and now living in Wales, Karlis first began his passion and intrest in the music industry in his early teens when he progressivly tought himself as a freelance sound engineer and designer. With a keen intrest in I.T from a young age, he soon became aware of the advances in software based music production. Since then he has been continously developing his skills, techniques and styles using such software as Propellerheads Reason and Steinberg’s Cubase.
Karlis has started ventures all over Wales in the last 3 years, from freelance play work including acting and interactive play workshops to photography and interactive multimedia projects with young people mongst others. He continuously outstands to amaze everyone he works with in any given area or profession and has a passion for doing the up most in any area of his career.

In April 2006 Karlis began working on a project to launch Primitive Sounds Ltd. designed to Create Opportunities for Young People in the Music Industry. You can find out more about this project at:
