About Me |

Airbag is a Norwegian band that started in 1994 after a group of high school friends was inspired by seeing Pink Floyd live on the Division Bell tour. In the beginning they performed songs by several artist, but after a while the band focused on two directions. One was as a Pink Floyd tribute band (highly regarded for their recreation of the Pink Floyd sound of the 70’s), the other direction was as Airbag , writing/performing their own material. After a few years with different lineups the band more or less settled in present form in 1999/2000. Three of the founding members are still in the band.A demo was made in 2004 and was well received by those who heard it, but it is the new demo, Sounds That I Hear , released in October 2006 that shows what Airbag is today. It has been embraced by a lot of people and received a lot of positive feedback. Now the band are putting together a live show and will be performing live during 2007. |
