Originally from a Lincolnshire backwater village, I escaped...to Nottingham where I've been for 20 years, making my way through a variety of jobs(culminating in me now returning to college to learn beauty therapy), alot of men, making and losing alot of friends, alot of men,clubs,flats and houses,depressive episodes,gyms and a fair few men. I am now settled with "Mr Fudd" for over 9 years. Been on and off the gay scene for those 20 years, safe to say now that I hate it, its narrow mindedness,designer label obsessiveness,ageist attitude,body conscious obsessiveness etc etc. Have always been happier on the alternative scene which is where I am at the minute, and glad to have met so many nice people.I am pretty high maintenance, quite shy until I get to know people which can come over as snotty/mardy/aloof/arrogant(I can be all those too if you want). Have anxiety issues that I'm still trying to work through.I hope I'm considered as a nice person, I've gotten rid of alot of the attitude I used to have, and work to try and treat people as I wish to be treated. I'd like to meet:I love the idea of meeting heroes but fear that the whole experience would be disastrous or very disappointing, ie Madonna, Pete Burns (who I find with time is a very selfishmiserable and up himself too much at times), Sioux etc. I like meeting people who are none homophobic, ageist,etc, easy going genuine people, Can be hard to get to know me, as my anxiety and insecurites are a major stumbling block to overcome both for me and others, but am trying.
