I love music from all categories from R&B, hiphop,rock to blues. If its good its good. Great singers who inspire me include U2, The Doors,Johnny Cash, Red Hot chili peppers, Janis Joplin, Outkast, Counting Crows, Gorillaz just to name a few of too many to list. My biggest of all influences i'd have to say is my grandfather in Japan who really got me started when i was little. He used to drag me to every karoake bar and contest intown(they let me in the bar when i was like 6 and he'd let me drink sake with him. how weird was that??)and all i could remember was i was always singing these japanese songs he made me memorize and i had no idea wht they were about. They only had one english song there i probably sang about a million times. "You are my sunshine." Since then, he'd always enter me in contests with him and he always came out with a trophy.
